Four former ministers have reportedly been allocated valuable plots of lands in Nuwara Eliya, according to National People’s Power (NPP) MP Manjula Suraweerarachchi, who made the statement in Parliament.
He claimed that Vadivel Suresh, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Sathasivam, and Ranjith Siyambalapitiya were among those who received these lands. The MP further stated that Vadivel Suresh had been given 50 acres in the Wewalthalawa area of Ambagamuwa, while former Lottery Board Chairman Upali Liyanage had also received another 50 acres.
