The Fort Magistrate’s Court has issued a warrant for former MP Wimal Weerawansa.
Accordingly, it is stated that this warrant has been issued due to his failure to appear in court when a case was summoned against him today (03).
This case was brought against him in connection with an incident in which he allegedly caused a loss of Rs. 9 million to the government by misusing 40 government vehicles provided to the National Freedom Front by the Presidential Secretariat.
